Photographer Rob Stapleton has an extensive background worldwide in photojournalism. This experience enables him to photograph an event that not only tells the story visually, but offers the perspective of the personalities being photographed.
Stapleton has photographed and published magazine assignments for Time, Life, People, Sports Illustrated, Newsweek, US News and World Report and Internationally for GEO, Paris Match, Der Stern, and has an extensive history with the Associated Press. Stapleton was the first photographer on the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill in 1989 and has covered the Iditarod Sled Dog Race 21 years from start to finish.
As an award winning member of the National Press Photographers, American Society of Media Photographers the Alaska Press Club, as well as the California Press Photographers Association, Stapleton has exhibited his ability to capture the moment.
